Hi everybody! I hope you are all doing well. I have been busy with work and other activities, but I wanted to create this post to keep you updated on my journey of becoming a published author. If you have read some of my other posts you know that I have a volume of short stories already created, I have been releasing one by one each month. I have also been submitting these short stories to literary magazines to get my name out there. Well, recently I received an email from ergot.press that one of my shorts was not accepted and was not a good fit for their magazine. Although disappointing, I will continue to keep submitting. I am trying to make it a goal of mine to submit a short story to at least one literary magazine once every week or every other week. There are a few others that I have submitted too so we shall see what they say. I will keep you all updated on what happens. One day you will see the title "Accepted!" on top of these posts, but until then I appreciate the support and I will continue to work on my writing. Also! I have started to write some more on the novel that I am working on, it will take some time to finish the first draft as I do not write as much as I would love to every day. Nonetheless, I will still be posting updates. My goal is to make it to 45,000 words by December.
